Hearthe – Healing Art Therapy, Yoga & Restorative Thai Yoga Massage Returning to our inner home, embracing the inner wisdom, the sweetness of life.

Back from my lil getaway filled with moments of awe, joy and sunburn, celebrating another trip around the sun.

Just in time for another celebration.

This Sunday morning, we meet on the mat to move with the golden energy of the Summer Solstice, that peak of light that invites us to expand, soften, and feel more alive in our bodies.

The solstice reminds us that our bodies are temples of light: wise, cyclical, and deeply connected to the rhythms of the Earth.

We’ll move with the fullness of summer’s energy — intuitive and sensual…not rushing, but letting it ripple through us in waves. Warming the heart. Awakening the spine. Rooting deeper into our bodies while reaching toward that bright, bold sky.

An invitation to let radiance lead.

This eve!

Easter is almost over, the chocolate’s half-eaten, and your nervous system might still be buzzing.

Let it all slow down.

Join me for a cozy, soulful hour of movement, breath and sweet surrender. Think: hips, heart, and deep exhales. Ground the energy of transition, release what’s ready to be let go, and return to the quiet of your body.

See you on the mat!

Conversation with myself as I woke up.

“I feel tired. I don’t want to wake up or get out of bed.”
“But why?”
“Because I feel sad.”
“So, what would make you feel better?”
“Care.”

So I gently got myself out of bed and made a cup of tea. Sat on my balcony soaking in the sun and continuing the conversation.

“What next?”
“Body hurts”
“Okay.”

And so I started by just circling my hips, feeling where the tension seems more pressing, and allowing to open, to connect to those parts that feel vulnerable. And slowly I found myself little by little willing to do more, to give myself more attention, presence and care.
And used all the tools I had. I stretched, rolled, tapped and rocked my body until it felt lighter.

And as I was coming to an end, I didn’t want to stop. Because it felt so good looking after myself.

I often invite my students to do a check in before each practice. How can you tend to yourself today?

Go deeper to the root of what you’re sensing and be supportive of whatever your finding. Get honest about it.
Pema Chodron talks about inviting emotions in, as a guest — “Hello, old friend”.

So if you wake up feeling tired maybe it’s time to ask yourself a few question:

“Are you truly tired? Or is it something else?”

“Are you tired of doing too much? Or not enough?”

“What would help?”

And believe me the answers will come as long as you’re willing to listen.

In tune with this morning reflections, I’ll be guiding 2 practices these weekend with the theme - “ Peace is power.”. And it’s not about maintaining peace at all times, because that’s not possible but about the power in learning to return to your peace.
