Grandmother Healer knows the secrets of birth and death. We go to her at threshold times, in times of crisis, or when we’re conflicted about what to do next.

Grandmother Healer is fierce and stubborn, compassionate and nurturing. She is hardened from a lifetime of medicine work, but her arms are always open, offering a soft place to land or shoulder to cry on.

She reminds us of our inner resilience and what we are capable of. She holds space for our vulnerability, and demonstrates how gentle self compassion will guide us through the hardships ahead.

She carries a healer’s belt around her waist, with a vial of St. John’s Wort.

In her belly is Valerian Root to calm the nervous system, Calendula for healing old wounds, and Holy Basil to honour the sacred within.
