UiPath Foundation
We have embarked on a global mission to support children living in poverty and their communities to take ownership of their path to the future.

We pitched the idea for the "Education and NGOs in the AI Era" conference to NGO Academy wanting to create an open space for honest conversations about AI in education and the nonprofit sector ๐งก.
145 participants from 90 NGOs later, we had representation from 17 countries across three continents. Now that's what we call a diverse pool of participants!
Here's what we covered:
๐ A plenary session on the future of education in the context of AI, moderated by Raluca Negulescu-Balaci, with Natalie Lao (MIT App Inventor Foundation, co-author of UNESCO's AI Competency Framework for Students), Sara Ratner (Oxford University), and Cฤtฤlina Raศฤ (UiPath Foundation).
๐ A practical session on the legal and regulatory framework impacting AI in education and NGOs, with Florina Petre (UiPath) and Matthew Wemyss (Cambridge School of Bucharest).
๐ Due to popular demand - two practical sessions on leveraging AI for managing the funding process and grant proposals, featuring the FUNCAP framework with Lisa Ringhofer and Silvia Weninger (TripleMinds).
The energy and curiosity from these professionals showed us just how much this conversation matters. We're grateful to every participant, speaker, and our partners at NGO Academy for making this possible. If you couldn't join us live, the recording of the plenary session is now available on our YouTube channel, the link is in the first comment.
And if you're curious, you can find out more about our AI in education initiatives in the 2025 Annual Report, available on our website now.

๐ AI is changing education fast, and for NGOs that brings both real opportunities and real questions.
Thatโs why weโre hosting Education and NGOs in the AI Era, a free online conference by UiPath Foundation, with support from NGO Academy, on 13โ14 May 2026.
It is dedicated to NGO professionals who want to better understand what AI actually means for their work, in a way that feels practical, relevant, and grounded in the realities of the sector today.
๐ Good to know information before you register:
โ The event will be held in English, and participation is free.
โ Because we want the practical sessions to allow room for discussion and interaction, places are limited and registrations will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis. If needed, priority may be given to NGO Academy members and to organizations whose work is closely connected to the conference theme.
โ Once all allocated places are filled, registration will close and a waiting list will be opened.
