Dear Members and New Members,
2019 is the beginning, of anything you want.
Congratulations on another positive year at Diplomatic Golf Club. I very much appreciate that these are challenging times for many organizations and indeed many people. You, the members, have proven that leisure plays an important role in your life style choices. I acknowledge your commitment to the Club in 2018.In 2019 there will be NO Contributions from members for the golf course maintenance as you did last year.
The real positive thing is that CD management gave my company the challenge to maintain and improve the golf course conditions in 2019.I had to say it as many members and green fees players never understood that the maintenance of the golf course was never my responsibility. In 2019 I will take on the challenge. Maybe is a good idea, maybe is bad idea,we will see:)
I made a contract for this year with a private company to continue work on Tees, Greens and Bunkers growing the value of your membership. I worked with this company in 2018 on a new project and they are very professional.
Although we are a public facility, the strength and longevity of any golf club relies on its members to recruit within and expose our golf course to their friends. It is therefore my pleasure to inform you that there will be NO increases in Membership Dues for the upcoming 2019/2020 Season. In fact, we are providing a new category, The Intermediate Membership(Limited), this year which will encourage greater interest in our golf course.
I think everyone has seen the challenges that have occurred during the past year so I will try a new system to make it work.
You must agree that we have a great atmosphere at the club and I encourage you to expose it to your friendship circles, clients and fellow golf enthusiasts to share in. Golf Club Captain Laurentiu Jiga and his goal for the upcoming season is to continue with his mission, to not only offer attractive benefits and competitive rates but must also build a strong social atmosphere in and around the CD Golf Club as he did for the last couple years.
