It is the highest mountain pass in Romania, it was build in 1970 to 1974, it is 91 km in length between Vidraru Barage and Cârțișoara village, and it is a connection between Curtea de Argeș and DN1 connection between Sibiu and Brașov.

📣📸National Road 7C(DN7C) also known as Transfăgărășan is a connection road between Muntenia(south region of Romania) and Transilvania (West Region of Romania) through 🗻 Făgăraș Mountains, the highest in Romania. 🛣The road has its highest point at the tunnel near Lake Bâlea, at 2042m altitude. It is the second highest road in Romania.
