What do Romania's historical relationship with UNESCO and the birth of Artificial Intelligence have in common? They both celebrate a major 70-year milestone this year!
AI is no longer just a tech buzzword, it is actively reshaping how we learn, work, and build society. That’s why GlobalLogic was honored to participate in the UNESCO Days 2026 conference, hosted at the Universitatea POLITEHNICA din București.
Our very own Romania Business Operations Head, Iustinian Șovrea, joined an elite panel of leaders at the "Education in the Age of Digitalization" international conference. He discussed the shifting expectations for future engineers and how industry and academia must collaborate to prepare professionals for an AI-driven workforce.
Beyond the stage, we love connecting with the community to drive digital transformation forward. Thank you to the UNESCO Chair “Engineering for Society” and Politehnica University of Bucharest for putting together such an impactful event!
