• 4-6 ani: luni & miercuri – 16:00
• 6-7 ani: luni & miercuri – 15:00
• 8-9 ani: luni & miercuri – 17:00
• 10-11 ani: marți – 16:30
• 12-13 ani: joi – 15:00
• 14-15 ani: marți – 15:00
• 16-17 ani: joi – 16:30

📝 Frecvență:
• Grupele 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 ani – 2 ședințe/săptămână × 50 min
• Grupele 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17 ani – 1 ședință/săptămână × 90 min

📚 Hai cu noi într-o aventură în limba engleză în anul școlar 2025-2026!
Cursuri interactive și distractive pentru elevi din clasele 0–12, plus pregătire pentru toate examenele Cambridge (YLE, KET, PET, FCE, CAE) – totul într-un mediu prietenos și motivant.

La Imagi Language Centre, lucrăm cu grupe mici (max. 10 copii), astfel încât fiecare copil primește atenția și sprijinul de care are nevoie. Îi organizăm pe grupe în funcție de nivel și clasă, ca să păstrăm o atmosferă echilibrată și productivă.

Cum învățăm?

Prin jocuri, povești, cântece, proiecte și conversații – pentru că engleza nu e doar teorie, ci o limbă vie, plină de povești și descoperiri. Programa urmează standardele Cambridge, astfel încât pregătirea pentru examene să fie firească, fără stres și cu multă încredere în sine.

Teaching ordinal numbers with “10 little rubber ducks” by Eric Carle

Although ordinal numbers ( 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th) may seem quite abstract to little children, the story "10 little rubber ducks" by Eric Carle helps children understand this concept way better than any other story.

Pre-reading activities
• Line up students (line-up students then point to the 1st, 2nd,3rd student, ask questions “Who is the 2nd in line/3rd in line etc.)
• Line up objects that students have around (students point to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd object and name it)
• Bring 10 little rubber ducks to class and number them – then play Which rubber duck is missing? (take out one rubber duck at a time and students shout out the missing duck)

While-reading activities
I read aloud the story and point out key words. I hand out the rubber ducks to students and when I read “The 1st rubber duck….”, the student who has the 1st rubber duck hands it back to me. The activity continues until all the 10 rubber ducks are back in the teacher’s bag.

Post-reading activities
• Comprehension questions (Who jumps over the 1st rubber duck?/Who barks at the 2nd rubber duck?/Who growls at the 3rd rubber duck?/Who stares at the 4th little rubber duck?)
• The story shows actions happening during one day -you can extend the story and talk about sequential daily activities (1st I wake up, 2nd I wash my face etc.)
• Matching activities- use the same 10 rubber ducks and have students match each duck with the animal that it meets (e.g. the 1st rubber duck meets a dolphin). For this activity you can print out animal flashcards – related to the world of Eric Carle). The students can do this activity either individually or in small groups.

Reflection
The voyage of the 10 little rubber ducks is a voyage of discovery, of self-awareness/self-knowledge, therefore the story can be used to explore the themes of self-discovery, life as a voyage for self-discovery, appearance versus reality.

Teaching Colours&Animals with the story ”Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?”by Eric Carle

The best story I found to teach colours and animal words with 6 year old kids is ”Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?”, by Eric Carle. As a procedure, before I read the story, I pre-teach some vocabulary students will encounter in the story, such as colours and animal words (brown bear, red bird, yellow duck, blue horse, green frog, purple cat, white dog, black sheep, goldfish). I usually use flashcards related to the world of Eric Carle in order to present vocabulary.

Examples of pre-reading activities
 Presentation of vocabulary- show students flashcards and name the animals/colours to elicit what they know/don’t know
 Play the game ”I spy something brown/red/yellow etc. in the classroom/at home” (if in an online scenario)
 Play the game ”What’s missing” (teacher holding 3 flashcards, students close their eyes, teacher takes one flashcard out, students call out the missing flashcard)

While-reading
I read aloud the story and point out key words. The stories by Eric Carle are quite simple and easy for students to understand. In order to engage students to contribute as well as much as possible to the story-telling activity I do several post-reading activities, such as the following:

Examples of post-reading activities
 Leave out words intentionally while reading for students to fill in (e.g. Brown bear, brown bear what do you see? I see a............looking at me)
 Role-play the story (split the class in two, one half of the class asks the questions – ”Brown, bear, what do you see?”/ whereas the other half, answers ”I see a red bird looking at me”.
 Play memory games (e.g. What colour is the dog in the story? etc.)
 Coluring activities based on the story (e.g. Colour the bird in red/)
 Drawing activities- students draw their favourite animal
 Continue the story- students continue the story by adding other colours+animals
