📢 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲

During the international Cluj Innovation Days 2026 conference, held in Cluj-Napoca, a significant milestone for Romania’s innovation ecosystem was reached with the signing of a Collaboration Protocol between ICI București - Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare în Informatică, the coordinator of AI Factory Romania, and the Cluj IT Cluster, the coordinator of DIH4Society.

The protocol was signed by Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, and Andrei Kelemen, CEO of Cluj IT Cluster, reaffirming both organizations' commitment to developing a competitive and innovative digital ecosystem.

This agreement reflects the shared commitment to strengthen collaboration in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation, contributing to the competitiveness of the Romanian economy and reinforcing European digital sovereignty.

The partnership gains particular significance in the context of the second implementation phase of DIH4Society (2026–2029), which begins on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, and will have a strong strategic focus on AI and Cybersecurity. In this new phase, the collaboration between DIH4Society and AI Factory Romania will create important synergies for the development and adoption of emerging technologies by SMEs, public organizations, healthcare institutions, and other innovation-driven entities.

𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨:
🔹 Identify and capitalize on opportunities arising from European priorities in AI and cybersecurity;
🔹 Support research, innovation, and smart specialization activities;
🔹 Develop joint projects under national and European funding programs;
🔹 Facilitate organizations’ access to expertise, infrastructure, and advanced digital transformation services;
🔹 Organize events, training programs, and initiatives dedicated to the development of the digital ecosystem.

The results achieved during the first phase of DIH4Society demonstrate the tangible impact of this collaborative model, generating more than € 10 million in investments and establishing an extensive network of European partnerships.

During the 2026–2029 period, the complementarity between AI Factory Romania and DIH4Society will further amplify this impact, accelerating the adoption of AI technologies and strengthening the cyber resilience of organizations across Romania.
