Slightly going off 2025. What a year! 💥
This year I started worrying less about the future and focusing more on living in the present. It’s been refreshing and it’s left space for the unknown to reveal itself when you least expect it.
I also explored different music genres in the studio and ended up finishing a 140 track that I’m really happy with. Planning to do more of that going forward and who knows maybe even release it in the near future. I’m incredibly grateful for all the music I got to release this year and for all the amazing moments and experiences along the way 🙏.
Massive shouts to all the incredible people I had the chance to collaborate with: Tempza, Hiraeth, SOLR, Scatterbrain, Sydney Bryce, Hugh Hardie, Degs, Blocksberg, Charlotte X and Flava D. It’s an absolute honour to have worked with you all and I’d love to do it again in the future 🫵.
Heading into 2026 with brand new music but more on that later when the time is right. For now it’s time for the traditional annual leave. I’ll see you around. Past, present or future I’m grateful for it all! 🙌❤️

STORY
Romanian born producer Alex Cobe or Sub:liminal’s passion for music started at a very young age by learning to play the guitar. Originated from Oradea, in 2007 he developed a passion for Drum&Bass music generated by the underground vibes and parties of the city in that moment. In 2014 he started to play Drum&Bass on local parties around the city mixing soulful liquid vibes. Somewhere in 2017 he created his own label night imprint ‘Apple Room Drum&Bass’ gaining beautiful editions through the years.
His journey into music production began somewhere around 2018. His sound is inspired by old&new liquid artists among the scene. His debut EP ’Space&Time’ on Fokuz Recordings was released in April 2020 and gained wide support from artists like: High Contrast, Doc Scott, Muffler, DJ Aphrodite, Dexcell, A-Sides, Philth, Melinki, Random Movement. More music is coming so keep an eye on him!
