On 25 February 2026, at 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻, 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮, the Gynecology and Urology teams reached a clear operational milestone in da Vinci™ robotic-assisted surgery: ten robotic procedures completed in a single day.

This level of performance was delivered using three da Vinci X Systems, all owned by the hospital. It signals more than clinical performance. It signals local capacity and program maturity, because high throughput in robotic surgery is never “just volume.” It is the outcome of planning, discipline, and a team operating with shared standards.

In many markets, progress in robotic surgery is still measured in “firsts”: the first system, the first case, the first specialty. Those moments matter. The mix achieved in Pleven, nine gynecology cases and one urology case, delivered across three systems, shows a program that is moving beyond isolated success and into repeatable performance.
