🐟 Monopterus albus – the Asian Swamp Eel! Kept by by 二叔公养鱼记 This remarkable fish is native to East and Southeast Asia and is known for its ability to breathe through its skin and mouth lining. It can survive out of water for several days, slithering across land to find new habitats. With no scales and a snake-like body, it thrives in rice paddies, swamps, and canals.
