𝐃𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐒 investigates how, in late capitalism, the body becomes both commodity and image, subjected to mechanisms of exposure, fragmentation, and visual consumption. Deterioration appears as a point of rupture within this logic, marking the moment when the body escapes aesthetic and economic control and refuses to remain fully consumable.

The exhibition approaches deterioration as a form of resistance against the pressure to maintain the body in a permanently aestheticized state, exposing the traces of wear produced by the mechanisms of the contemporary spectacle.

The group exhibition 𝐃𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐒, bringing together national and international artists – 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐫, 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞́𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭, 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐮, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐬̦, 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚, 𝐄𝐯𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐮̈𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫, 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐳𝐢𝐮, 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐮, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐎𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚, 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐳𝐧𝐞𝐫 and 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮, curated by 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐚𝐜 𝐕𝐥𝐚̆𝐝𝐮𝐭̦𝐢 at 𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐀 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐭̦𝐢𝐮, will be open for visits from 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, between 𝟏𝟒:𝟎𝟎–𝟏𝟖:𝟎𝟎, and on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, between 𝟏𝟐:𝟎𝟎–𝟏𝟖:𝟎𝟎, until May 16th.
