The Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology in Arkhangelskoye is considered one of the best museums of technology, cars, and motorcycles not only in Moscow but also in all of Europe. The museum displays a magnificent collection of vintage cars and motorcycles from Germany, Italy, France, and the USSR. I've visited this museum many times with my foreign guests, tourists from many countries, and my family, and each time I'm in awe of these luxurious vintage cars, many of which are still running, gleaming in the sun with their varnish and chrome. The museum's stunning collection also includes motorcycles, airplanes, tanks, trains, multiple rocket launchers, goods manufactured in the USSR, and much more.

Музей Техники Вадима Задорожного в Архангельском считается одним из наилучших музеев ретро техники, авто и мототехники не только в Москве, но и во всей Европе. Музей представляет на обозрение роскошную коллекцию ретроавтомобилей и мотоциклов из Германии, Италии, Франции, и СССР. Много раз я посещал этот музей со своими иностранными гостями, туристами из многих стран, а также со своей семьёй, и каждый раз восторженно смотрю на эти роскошные сияющие на солнце лаком и хромом ретроавтомобили, многие из которых «на ходу». Ошеломительная коллекция музея также включает мотоциклы, самолеты, танки, поезда, системы залпового огня, товары, произведенные в СССР, и многое другое.

= European Vintage Mercedes-Benz and Horch Cars =

View of the first floor of the Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology, featuring luxurious vintage Mercedes-Benz (left) and Horch (right), as well as the stunning "microcars" of post-war Europe (far center). On this floor, you can also see other classic masterpieces of European automotive design: BMW, Alfa Romeo, Delahaye, Rolls-Royce, and others, as well as American vintage cars dating back to the late 19th century.

= Европейские ретроавтомобили Mercedes-Benz и Horch =

Вид 1-этажа музея Техники Вадима Задорожного с роскошными ретроавтомобилями Mercedes-Benz (слева), и Horch (справа), а также невероятные по своему облику «микрокары» послевоенной Европы (вдалеке посередине). На этом этаже можно познакомится и с другими классическими шедеврами европейского автомобилестроения: BMW, Alfa Romeo, Delahayе, Rolls-Royce и другими, а также американскими ретроавтомобили, начиная с конца XIX века.

View of one of the two rostral columns against the backdrop of the Stock Exchange building (with columns on the left) and part of the yellow building of the Institute of Precambrian Geology and Geochronology of the Russian Academy of Sciences during a night boat ride with the drawbridges raised.

The two rostral columns were erected between 1805 and 1810 according to the designs of the French architect Thomas de Thomon, who decorated them with the rostra of ships on either side of Vasilievsky Island. This symbolism represents the power and grandeur of the state's navy and also alludes to the ancient Roman custom of decorating columns with the rostra (Latin rostra, plural of Latin rostrum, "ship's prow") of defeated (captured) enemy ships.

The Stock Exchange building is the central structure of the architectural ensemble of the Spit of Vasilievsky Island in St. Petersburg. The yellow building on the right is the Institute of Precambrian Geology and Geochronology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPGG RAS). It originates from the Laboratory of Precambrian Geology of the USSR Academy of Sciences (LAGED USSR Academy of Sciences), created by the decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on May 30, 1950 and the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences on July 12, 1950 with the aim of studying the earliest geological formations of the earth's crust.

Вид с Петроградской набережной на корму (заднюю часть) легендарного крейсера «Аврора», который стал символом Октябрьской революции 1917 года. Сейчас он является филиалом Центрального военно-морского музея. Отправившись на экскурсию по «Авроре», вы сможете подняться на палубу крейсера 1-го ранга, побывать в его внутренних помещениях, познакомиться с бытом моряков начала XX века. Шесть помещений отданы под музейные экспонаты: модели кораблей, исторические документы, фотографии и другие раритеты. Кроме того, здесь часто проводятся художественные выставки, на которые приходят ценители искусства.

A view from Petrogradskaya Embankment of the stern (rear) of the legendary cruiser Aurora, which became a symbol of the October Revolution of 1917. It is now a branch of the Central Naval Museum. A tour of the Aurora allows you to ascend to the deck of the first-rank cruiser, explore its interior, and learn about the daily life of sailors in the early 20th century. Six rooms are dedicated to museum exhibits: ship models, historical documents, photographs, and other rarities. Art exhibitions are also frequently held here, attracting art lovers.
