Good day!

We are pleased to inform that in consultation with the Malaysian Immigration Department, the Embassy has obtained approval for new method of renewal Malaysian passports in Russia. The Embassy intends to submit a passport renewal application to the Immigration Office in Putrajaya on April 30, 2020.

• *For those students who do not intend to return home during this summer break and wish to renew their passports,* they may submit their application forms and sent their complete documents through the courier service in Russia (door to door service) to the Embassy.

•*FOR STUDENTS WHO WISH TO RETURN TO MALAYSIA DURING THE SUMMER BREAK*, it is advisable for the student to renew their passport in Malaysia and obtain a new visa in Malaysia before returning to Moscow to avoid any future problems.

•*Please Take Note*
*Those previous applications submitted will also be sent to Malaysia for renewal.*

• Embassy will also contact those who have submitted applications for passport renewal earlier for further clarification.

• Please make sure and provide complete and orderly documents as specified, especially with regard to fingerprint and signature [please make sure fingerprint and signature are filled up correctly ] and picture [as specified in guidelines ]. • Payment of the passport renewal charge is Ruble3,450.00 to RM200.00 equivalent based on the foreign currency account of Malaysian Accountants Rub100.00 = RM5.8447) Payment can be made by bank transfer to the Embassy account below and please provide a copy of statement of payment . Payment receipts will be issued as soon as the confirmation is received by the Embassy through the Bank.

• Incomplete applications and pending payment will not be processed until one reach all conditions applied
