I was kindly invited to give a talk at the Moscow Business Toastmasters Club which was a great experience. If English is not your native language and you have to do any kind of public speaking or presentations, or want to hear and see how other people, who are not professional speakers, present it is a great club to join. And it is done in true Toastmasters format where you are timed, evaluated and you even get to through the Toastmasters program. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and recommend you go at least once just to see if it can be of value to you. I do guarantee that once you experience it you will want to go again. I was kindly asked by Kate Lapteva founder of the newly formed Moscow Business Toastmasters Club, if I would give a talk at their meeting tonight. If you haven’t registered yet, please do as I am sure, you will find this club a useful place if you want to see and listen to Non Native English speakers deliver interesting business related talks and practice their presenting skills.

Now whilst Kate asked me to do an inspirational, motivational type talk, tonight’s presentations will be “Creating a healthy work environment.” A subject that is very close to my heart and fascinates me. This is mostly because over the last few years it has increased in popularity and we centre most thinking around the view that a healthy workplace environment is a vital factor that influences employee motivation and happiness. How productive and efficient, and the all-round wellbeing of staff and managers, all goes down to their working environment and how they interact.. but I believe there is something else that most companies do not recognize 😱
