May 9th, Victory Day - Moscow, Russia

Everyone is outside, holding russian flags and pictures of their ancesters, to comemmorate the victory over the N***s during WWII.

This celebration is way more important here than in Western Europe, it's one of the biggest holidays in Russia. People are paying a lot of importance to respect the memory of the 26 millions USSR citizens who died between 1939 and 1945 (country with the biggest amount of losses).

This day starts with a huge military parade to celebrate the victory, and people are remaining silent while listening to speeches and watching impressive vehicules and soldiers. And the day ends with fireworks all around the city, with people smiling and applauding. With summer arriving, it was a very beautiful moment to spend here in Moscow.
