Today, UNFPA🇷🇼 together with and relevant stakeholders held a validation workshop to review findings from the baseline assessment, and inform program implementation of the KURA NAWE program, supported by Embassy of Luxembourg in Rwanda.

In his remarks, UNFPA Rep, Dr. Adelakin Olugbemiga emphasized that “What we are shaping here is not just content. It is how learning will happen. It is how teachers will engage. It is how young people will think about their health, their choices, and their future.”

Participants validated the KURA NAWE baseline findings, confirming that they reflect the realities of young people & TVET institutions. The discussions underscored the need for a the integration of CSE in the TVET curriculum to support young people’s informed decision making.
