According to The Ministry of Infrastructure in Rwanda vehicles grow at a rate of 12% annually so this means that we would have had over 6000 new fossil fuel motorcycles in Kigali roads since 2019.

We need new e-motos but we also need to take the old fossil fuel motorcycles out of the road.

This is why Rwanda needs EnergyGo. That’s why Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA) needs to listen to its youth led organization which has developed the most advanced financial strategy that can eliminate 20k plus fossil motorcycles before 2026.

There are over 100,000 motorcycles in yet less than 10% is electric after 5 since the conversation began. A recent post by a leading electric motorcycle production company is Rwanda was meant to highlight progress but this showed there was a bigger problem considering they have been operating for over 4 years.
