On February 25, 2026, in Rusizi District, a PGI rapid assessment was conducted within the framework of DREF implementation using Key Informant Interviews (KIIs).
We engaged with the Director of Social Protection and the staff member in charge of persons with disabilities at the district level to gather valuable insights.
The assessment aimed to identify challenges related to social protection during emergencies, highlight existing gaps, and explore opportunities to strengthen the protection of vulnerable groups.
Through collaboration and dialogue, we continue working to ensure that no one is left behind in times of crisis.
