Digital finance is on the rise in Rwanda, and it's increasingly important to hear from consumers about their experiences. But how do you study a complex concept like consumer protection in digital finance? Our team reflects on a qualitative phone survey we led for Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion in 2021:

📣New Case Study: Six-year follow-up of the Bandebereho intervention in Rwanda implemented by Promundo-US and Rwamrec to promote men’s engagement in maternal and newborn health, equitable caregiving, healthier couple relations, and the prevention of violence against women and children.

Six years after the original RCT, we revisited 1,199 couples and 800 children aged 4 to 7 years for surveys and child development assessments using Save the Children's IDELA. As always, our priority was to maintain respondent health, safety, and privacy while collecting high-quality data.
