Today, we stand together to honor the memory of over one million innocent lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. We remember their names, their dreams, and the deep pain left behind.

As we mark 31 years since this tragic chapter in our history, we reaffirm our commitment to truth, unity, and reconciliation. We draw strength from the resilience of survivors and from the courage of a nation that chose peace over hatred, hope over despair.

Let Kwibuka 31 be a moment for reflection and action. A moment to teach the truth to future generations, to uphold justice, and to renew our promise: Never Again.
