With TDFD's grant, the ylang-ylang flower essential oil industry in Comoros is set for remarkable advancements. We anticipate a surge in ylang-ylang essential oil production, thanks to the enhanced quality control measures and reduced energy consumption.

The introduction of state-of-the-art distillation facilities, equipped with new technology, will also shorten processing times. These upgrades are not just about boosting efficiency—they are designed to drive sustainable growth, elevate product standards, and contribute significantly to the economic prosperity of Comoros.

Le TDFD est ravi d'annoncer une subvention transformatrice pour stimuler la production d'huile essentielle de fleurs d'ylang-ylang aux Comores. Cette subvention financera de nouveaux équipements et la construction d'installations avancées, y compris des entrepôts et des fours.

L'objectif est d'améliorer le volume, la qualité et la portée du marché mondial de l'huile d'ylang-ylang, en augmentant les revenus des membres des coopératives et en ouvrant de nouveaux marchés internationaux.

Les trois coopératives bénéficiaires de cette initiative sont COP-SUD, COGYVAM et Foulera Djema. Ce projet marque une étape majeure pour l'industrie de l'ylang-ylang, favorisant une croissance durable et élevant l'huile comorienne sur la scène mondiale.

Le taux d'alphabétisation en milieu rural au Cameroun, estimé à 50 % (INS, 2010), représente un défi pour les producteurs de coton qui ont du mal à accéder aux informations essentielles sur les techniques agricoles modernes et la gestion financière. Le manque d'alphabétisation peut avoir un impact sur la productivité et les revenus, ce qui empêche les agriculteurs d'adopter des pratiques innovantes et d'améliorer leurs moyens de subsistance.

Pour y remédier, le Fonds de développement du commerce (TDFD), en partenariat avec l'Alliance française de Garoua et la Sodecoton en tant que partenaire de mise en œuvre, a lancé un projet d'alphabétisation pour les producteurs de coton. ’s rural literacy rate, estimated at 50% (INS, 2010), presents a challenge for farmers who struggle to access essential information on modern farming and financial management. Limited literacy can impact and , making it harder for to adopt innovative practices and improve their .

To address this, the Trade Development Fund (TDFD), in partnership with Alliance française de Garoua, (with Sodecoton as the implementing partner), launched a literacy for cotton growers. The initiative focuses on helping farmers understand key documents, improve on agricultural topics, and strengthen their in , , and management—driving long-term and success in rural communities.
