Did you forget this? what should you do?
Have a busy day and had to rush to work, forgot to take care about your oral hygiene? Every one does.. at least sometimes.
Here are some advices that might help:
1-Think about it from this perspective: no one goes out before taking care about the way he/she looks or smells. Yes, people do notice your teeth are not clean, or that your smell isn't good. This will motivate you to put a priority for taking care of your teeth
2-Chose what to eat: some types of food (especially processed food) are sticky and they don't get flushed away easily. Your mouth has some cleaning mechanisms, don't make it difficult for them. You'd rather pick a piece of fruit than a junk food for morning breakfast. Fruits, vegs and whole grains are rich in fiber, which is healthy and help automatic cleansing for some extent
3- Staying hydrated (drinking frequent water) helps dilute the acids formed on your teeth by food decomposition. It also improves your saliva secretion and reduces caries occurrence and gum inflammation
4- Chewing a sugar free gum helps reducing food residues in your mouth. It is refreshing, and gives a pleasant smell as well
5- Stay away from to***co. It is bad for health and for your oral hygiene, makes bad odor, reduces saliva secretion and stains you teeth
6- If you need to consume some hot drinks, make the choices without sugar, with natural stevia or get used to the original taste of non-sweetened beverages
Hope you find those tips helpful, and have a nice day!
