85 سورة البروج -

As we celebrated Eid here on Earth, the martyrs celebrated a different celebration with their Lord.

Allah ﷻ says:

‎وَلا تَحسَبَنَّ الَّذينَ قُتِلوا في سَبيلِ اللَّهِ أَمواتًا بَل أَحياءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِم يُرزَقون

‎فَرِحينَ بِما آتاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضلِهِ وَيَستَبشِرونَ بِالَّذينَ لَم يَلحَقوا بِهِم مِن خَلفِهِم أَلّا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنون

And never assume of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead, rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provisions.

Celebrating what Allah has given them from His bounty, and they are (also) rejoicing about those (to be martyred) who remain behind, and have yet to join them, that they shall have no fear upon them, nor shall they ever grieve.

(Surat Aal-Imran: 169-170)
