๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ”ฅ Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Strips โ€” Better than takeout & SO crunchy!
These juicy crispy chicken strips are packed with flavor, super crunchy outside and tender inside ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ— INGREDIENTS

โ€ข Chicken breast โ€“ 500g (cut into strips)
โ€ข Buttermilk โ€“ 1 cup
โ€ข Hot sauce โ€“ 1 tbsp
โ€ข Flour โ€“ 1 cup
โ€ข Cornflour โ€“ ยฝ cup
โ€ข Paprika โ€“ 1 tsp
โ€ข Garlic powder โ€“ 1 tsp
โ€ข Onion powder โ€“ 1 tsp
โ€ข Black pepper โ€“ 1 tsp
โ€ข Chili flakes โ€“ ยฝ tsp
โ€ข Salt โ€“ to taste
โ€ข Baking powder โ€“ ยฝ tsp
โ€ข Oil spray โ€“ as needed

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ METHOD
1๏ธโƒฃ In a bowl, mix buttermilk, salt , garlic powder and hot sauce
2๏ธโƒฃ Add chicken strips โ€” marinate for at least 30 mins
3๏ธโƒฃ In another bowl, mix flour, cornflour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, chili flakes, salt and baking powder
4๏ธโƒฃ Coat each chicken strip well in flour mixture
5๏ธโƒฃ Dip lightly again in buttermilk for extra crispiness
6๏ธโƒฃ Coat once more in dry mixture โ€” press gently for rough crispy texture
7๏ธโƒฃ Place strips in air fryer basket and spray lightly with oil
8๏ธโƒฃ Air fry at 200ยฐC for 10 mins
9๏ธโƒฃ Flip, spray again lightly and cook 6โ€“8 mins more until golden crispy

๐ŸŒฎ Baked Chicken Tacos

๐Ÿ“ Ingredients

Chicken Filling:
Boneless chicken (small cubes) โ€“ 500 g
Oil โ€“ 2 tbsp (30 ml)
Onion (chopped) โ€“ 1 medium (120 g)
Capsicum (chopped) โ€“ 1 cup (120 g)
Garlic paste โ€“ 1 tbsp (15 g)
Salt โ€“ 1 tsp (6 g)
Red chili powder โ€“ 1 tsp (5 g)
Paprika โ€“ 1 tsp (5 g)
Black pepper โ€“ ยฝ tsp (2 g)
Cumin powder โ€“ 1 tsp (5 g)
Oregano โ€“ 1 tsp (2 g)
Tomato paste โ€“ 2 tbsp (30 g)

Assembly:
Soft flour tortillas (small size) โ€“ 15โ€“16
Mozzarella cheese (shredded) โ€“ 1ยฝ cups (170 g)
Cheddar cheese โ€“ ยฝ cup (50 g)
Garnish (new style):
Fresh chopped parsley
Jalapeรฑo slices
Light sour cream drizzle

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Method:

Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic paste and sautรฉ few seconds.

Add chicken and cook on medium heat until no longer pink.

Add salt, red chili powder, paprika, black pepper, cumin powder, oregano. Mix well.

Add tomato paste and cook 2โ€“3 minutes until slightly thick.

Add onion and capsicum. Cook just 2โ€“3 minutes (slightly crunchy rehne dein).

Lightly warm tortillas on a pan for a few seconds so they become soft and fold easily.

Add 2โ€“3 tbsp (about 40โ€“50 g) chicken filling in center of each tortilla.

Sprinkle mozzarella + cheddar inside, fold like a taco (donโ€™t press flat).

Arrange folded tacos upright, tightly next to each other in a lightly greased baking dish (so they stay standing).

Add extra cheese on top.

Bake at 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) for 12โ€“15 minutes until cheese melts and top slightly golden.

Rest 3โ€“4 minutes before serving .
