What if we’ve been reading time the wrong way all along?

Most watches follow the direction of a centuries-old convention.

The Raketa Russian Code – Meridian does the opposite.

Its hands move backwards, powered by a specially engineered movement designed and manufactured to operate entirely in reverse. Even the seconds hand, shaped like the Moon, circles the Earth in the opposite direction.

The idea comes from a simple observation: while sundials inspired the direction we read time today, the Earth itself travels around the Sun in the opposite direction.

2340 collection was never designed to follow the usual “sports watch” formula.
It approaches it differently — slimmer proportions, sharper lines, lighter materials, and a stronger focus on texture and detail.

Now, the collection returns with two new dial expressions: Mauve and Forest.

Mauve feels softer and more luminous, built around an elongated pill-shaped texture that changes constantly under light.
Forest takes the opposite direction — darker, deeper, and more graphic, with horizontal lines that give the dial a stronger architectural presence.

Both sit inside the 2340’s titanium and stainless-steel case, paired with an integrated bracelet and a slim automatic movement that keeps the profile sleek on the wrist.

The result is not just two new colors.
It’s two completely different personalities added to one of Louis Erard’s most contemporary collections.
