A simple gesture that touched my heart 💜

Recently this beautiful episode happened that touched my heart .
The other day we broke our fast , Alhamdulillah the Iftar was more than enough that day. Normally I offer Maghreb prayer after keeping dishes and other stuff in kitchen . That day it gotten late so I went to offer prayer rather doing the chores . After my prayer when i reached the table , dishes were already kept in the kitchen , leftovers were then in the fridge and the table was clean .
I was relaxed and merry as most of my work has been done . My husband later told it was shazu who undertook the charge .

I couldn’t hold my tears as this was the sweet surprising gesture from his end . Upon asking , he said , “ Mumma I see you every time working for us it’s the least I did . I see daddy doing household chore and helping you always”.

Being involved in chores gives children an essence of relationship, cooperation and team work .
He used to assist me with household chores here and then but this literally moved me .

Home is where the primary learning begins. Our words , discipline and role reflects through our children .
Knowingly or unknowingly children always keep observing us . We need to be mindful of our language and actions .

It’s not about the good and bad parenting it’s all about correct and incorrect teachings .
