Sustainability is a top priority for us, and it’s great to see our partners taking solid steps in the right direction.

Martin Professional has now updated the packaging for MAC Aura XIP. Following the lead from MAC One, the new units are being shipped in molded cardboard pulp instead of expanded polystyrene. Even the protective plastic bag has been replaced with a compostable bamboo fiber bag.

Old packaging will be phased out as stock is used up, so you’ll start seeing the new materials appearing soon.

And yes, the fixture is still available in SiP packaging for easy flightcase integration.

Great initiative from Martin, and a step forward for the entire industry.
