When the mists linger on the fields in the morning, we say in Sweden that it's the mist fairies dancing. You shouldn't look too long, or you might be tempted to join them and be forever lost when the mists dissipate. These legends are similar to those behind the German poem Erlkönig.

Folktale Week is the challenge to celebrate folktales from all around the world: Interpret the prompts and share your work. Illustrators, artists, storytellers, wordsmiths - welcome! No matter where you are in your journey, there is a place for you. 🖤
