Irina Johansson is a Sweden based artist who was born in Ukraine. She developed her skills in Sand Animation including Sand Paintings and Canvas Prints, and gradually included water elements following the Ebru-tradition.

For Under Construction Irina exhibits 5 art pieces that explore Tranebergsbron from different temporalities and perspectives.

Ran Duan is an artist, architect, and lighting designer, specialised in printmaking and traditional painting.

For Under Construction, Ran has explored the theme of “readiness”: the state of being ready for all kinds of outcomes. It could be a state of being rigorous, or rather nonchalant, or even indifferent, but it is always willing to face what is about to happen.

Olesia is an illustrator from Russia living in Stockholm. In particular, she likes exploring urban themes. “Sketching while travelling is my way to explore and understand the atmosphere of new destinations, as well as discover and appreciate place where I live now”, she says.

The artist hantaube mainly practices the making of headdresses on a budget, and then act as model for her creations. For Hantaube, Under Construction means that nothing is ever really finished to the point of full satisfaction, and this is reflected in her own art as well. The construction process of the headdresses heavily inspire the characters she captures on camera.

Georgios is a photographer based in Kungsholmen that specialises in weddings, portraits and fine-art photography. His photographic style reflects wedding photography a lot, and tends towards cinematographic post-processing as well.

For Under Construction, Georgios submitted a photography taken on a misty day by Norr Mälarstrand in Kungsholmen right before the reconstruction.

Fredrik Ehn is an architect and illiustrator who depicts captions of architectural situations and recognizable characters, usually in forms of portraits. He sees façades as faces. Just like portraits are the meeting between the creator and its subject, in architecture the built and pictures are in symbiose.
For Under Construction, Fredrik exhibits 5 mellow but characteristic portraits of buildings, and of one specific sight.
