Mefisto

We welcome Nicklas Karlsson to the family. He has played in bands such as Soils of Fate, Scarpoint, Construcdead and Chaosys. A progressive focus on metal has long been a common thread. Nicklas fits like a glove. We were looking for a drummer who could handle all genres. Especially since Mefisto was already difficult to place in a compartment in the early 80s. Depending on who asked, we played, death, black, speed, heavy, doom, etc. A warm welcome to the Mefisto family. More interesteting info coming soon....

Here is an update after a long absence on social media. First of all. After a long friendship, it was time to reorganize the band. The reason is not due to any schism or anything else. It is mainly due to distance (geography) and commitment. We have decided that instead of writing new material, we will become a scratching band with the goal of hitting the road to meet an audience. Something that has never been the case before. Therefore, with this "post" we would like to say a big thank you to our eminent drummer and bassist, Chris and Alex, thank you for this time and good luck with your continued careers. Your contributions on our latest album, Phosphorous were of the highest quality. We are still brothers! More info coming soon. Happy Easter!
