Both Arshaq and Popgun got to work on their dressage moves today under a beautiful moon.👩🏼‍🌾🎠💕 🏇🏼✨ 🌓

Popgun was out first.♘✨ He was a little more eager to go than usual but listened well and gradually relaxed more and more. We practiced on some patterns from lower level dressage programs and then continued working on the exercise we focused on during our last dressage lesson with our trainer.📖📚 (I drew it on the 3rd picture.)

We started with quite a few steps of walking and trotting in between each 20 meter loop of canter and then tried to gradually decrease the amount so that we sometimes only had a couple of steps of walking in between the canter.🎠✨ Sometimes we also added a few extra steps of something depending on what felt right.🤔 Poppy had very well so we finished off a little early and then walked until we had ridden exactly 1 hour before I got off and switched horses.👩🏼‍🌾🎠🔜🏇🏼

Since Adam had to stay home and study, my Dad babysat Arshaq and myself during this evenings ride, just in case I fell off on my face.♞✨ (Luckily, that still hasn’t happened yet.)😂 Baby was very well behaved today, although a little suspicious in the beginning.🍼 👁.👁 I think he felt that I was a little nervous since Adam wasn’t there so he was cautiously looking around a little, probably wondering what I was so worried about.👀❔Once I relaxed, he went back to being his cheerful and forward/confident self.

I tried to keep him entertained with as many interesting patterns and changes in speeds as I could. We worked on increasing his walk and gently extending his trot and eventually it was time to canter, which he definitely thought was the most fun! He was practically beaming with pride and doing that thing were they blow out air when they are relaxed and pleased with themselves.🏇🏼💨 When he is relaxed, his canter is like chocolate.😍🍫 It could make anyone smile from ear to ear.🤩🏇🏼💨✨

Yesterday we got sweaty.🏇🏼💦

I trained with both Popgun and Arshaq for our dressage trainer Per and my Dad took plenty of pictures (that I can post once he has had the chance to put them over on to the computer).🤠🗯📖📸 Popgun was first out and we focused a lot on improving our transitions, straightening out our shoulder-ins a little, worked on trotting down the center-line and tried out a new exercise which involved doing transitions at specific lines on the ground in order to prepare for canter changes. 🦄✨💎📝 Once Popgun’s session was done, we went for a little walk around the fields to cool down and then took some nice pictures with my father.📸👨🏻‍🌾 After, it was time to get Arshaq ready for our session together.🍼🦁 I knew from the second I started leading Arshaq in from the field that it was going to be an exciting training. 😅 It was windy and he was full of energy so it was sort of like riding a shook up coca-cola bottle.🍾😳 But Per helped us through it and we survived.😂 Afterwards, we went for a walk to cool off and took a couple of pictures as well. We always learn a lot when Per comes.💛

This is what weekends are for!🦁🥕🦄💕🎠✨

Today Arshaq and I went for a lovely walk in the autumn sunlight along with my dad.🍂🐾 We stopped for quick snack breaks along the way and also practiced a few of our tricks.🌱🥕🎪🦁💛

Popgun and I then went for a 2,5 hour ride with and her horse 🎠✨🐎💨🍂 We mostly walked and talked while looking at the colorful autumn leaves but we also trotted a little for fun.🏇🏼💨🍁🍂🌾🍄

It was so fun to have such great company so we were out longer than expected but luckily we got back just before dark.🌄 I was happy that I was wearing my warm thermo pants since it felt like the temperature dropped quite rapidly as the sun went down.🙏🏻❄️

After, my Queen Shahina and I enjoyed a carefree ba****ck ride around first the outdoor arena and then also on a path around the fields.🦄✨🌒🌾
