We have heard and seen of Iberico pork, Kurobuta pork in supermarkets and restaurants but Yongenton pork? A quick google result showed that these Yongenton breeds are raised in a stress-free environment (we need that!) and are a cross-breed of Chester White and other breeds that give Yongenton pork the beautiful marbling of tender fat and delicate sweetness. Sounds great right!
And so, we have to try this awesome dish available on menu. With every mouthful of the rice, the pork slices were simply delicious. We probably have tasted those heavily seasoned dishes, that practically cover whatever sweetness the meat brings, but not this dish.
The seasoning enhances the natural sweetness of the Yongenton pork, and was oh-so-tender and juicy! OMG~

For the love of matcha, I want another slice please! This pretty matcha cake has all the layers fit for a true matcha lover. You get the soft matcha chiffon, light matcha mousse, rich matcha ganache, topped with matcha powder and Chantilly cream for that added flavour! The strong matcha has a pleasant sweetness that makes you wanting more.
𝙂𝙤𝙢𝙖 x 𝙋𝘽 ($8.50)
The first thought I had was sesame and peanut butter? But no doubt this tastes as good as it looks! Our fellow colleague and pastry chef herself, reviewed “this tart conveyed the taste of sesame elegantly - from the hands of a seasoned pastry chef”.

Our favorite of the three. We were surprised by its combination. The sweet-tart was a perfect match for the aroma of the hojicha and the bitterness of the coffee; well balanced would be the word to describe it.
