Module prices lack a clear trend at the moment
20.01.2012: The PHOTON price index shows that module prices have no clear tendency at the moment. The average price of monocrystalline photovoltaic (PV) modules on the German spot market remained at 82 euro cents ($1.06), while the per-watt price of multicrystalline PV modules on the German spot market climbed 4 euro cents (5.2¢) to 83 euro cents ($1.07). Modules produced by Asian manufacturers closed the week with an average price of 78 euro cents ($1.01), compared to 77 euro cents (99.2¢) previously. The entire module price index, as well as indexes for other regions, cell technologies and inverters, is published on a regular basis in PHOTON International magazine.
