Naša spolupráca s Fakultou matematiky, fyziky a informatiky Univerzity Komenského v Bratislave má dlhoročné základy.

Teší nás, že môžeme byť súčasťou komunity, z ktorej k nám už roky prichádzajú šikovní ľudia, nové otázky a nové nápady.

Remote meteorological observation will play an important role in the next phase of development at Mărculești International Airport in Moldova. As the former military airfield transitions into a civil aviation facility, reliable meteorological coverage will be essential, especially without a permanent on-site meteorological service.

As part of MicroStep-MIS’ aviation meteorology modernization project in Moldova, IMS Remote Observer will be deployed together with IMS AWOS at Mărculești International Airport (ICAO: LUBM), with observations managed remotely from Chișinău. The project also includes the reconstruction and reinstallation of AWOS at Chișinău International Airport (ICAO: LUKK). We were pleased to welcome our Moldovan partners to Bratislava for two weeks of Factory Acceptance Tests and training. Their visit marked an important step in supporting safe, efficient, and cost-effective meteorological coverage for Moldova’s aviation infrastructure.

We were pleased to take part in RES 2026 EXPO | Regional Ecological Summit EXPO in Astana, an international platform focused on green technologies, sustainable solutions, and environmental innovation in Central Asia. The event brought together stakeholders from government, business, science, and the expert community to discuss the region’s sustainable future.

As part of the program, MicroStep-MIS delivered a presentation on water digitalization, highlighting how integrated monitoring, real-time data, and modern digital tools can support more efficient, transparent, and sustainable management of water resources.

Our participation was made even more meaningful thanks to our long-standing cooperation with Adal-meteo LLP, our exclusive local partner for Kazakhstan.

We have been working together since around 2010, and over more than 15 years, this partnership has grown into a strong foundation for our activities in the country. Together, we have installed approximately 250 meteorological stations and four weather radars across Kazakhstan.

Adal-meteo LLP plays a key role in ensuring that our technologies are successfully implemented and reliably operated in local conditions. Their experienced technical team provides first-level support directly to customers, takes care of local certification and installation, and helps maintain our meteorological stations to keep them running in the field year after year.

We truly value this cooperation - not only for the technical expertise Adal-meteo LLP brings, but also for their professionalism, reliability, and deep knowledge of the local environment.

Thank you to our partners, visitors, and everyone we had the opportunity to meet at RES 2026 EXPO.

Meteorological Sensors Testing and Calibration Facility 12/02/2026

We’re proud to share this look inside the Calibration Facility at the Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPRS) in Pune, India. The laboratory, delivered by MicroStep-MIS, operates to support meteorological sensors calibration - from controlled laboratory conditions to on-field testing of met sensors.

We are honored to have supported the project, helping ensure accurate, reliable, and traceable data measurement for critical sensors such as air temperature, relative humidity, pressure, and precipitation.

This collaboration strengthens accuracy, reliability, and long-term measurement quality, which are essential for effective water measurement, hydrometeorological observations, and informed environmental decision-making. Beyond technology, such facilities also play an important role in training and building capacity for sustainable monitoring practices.
