The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre has unveiled a renewed ‘Light and Peace’ exhibition at its Noor and Salam Museum, featuring a curated collection of rare artefacts that celebrate Islamic heritage.

Highlights include a rare page from the Blue Qur’an in gilded Kufic script, a 16th-century gold-plated Ottoman candlestick, a 17th-century Transylvanian-style prayer rug, a 15th-century Mamluk ivory-inlaid door, and a piece of silk from the Holy Kaaba’s inner covering.

The display also showcases manuscripts, astrolabes, and Andalusian wooden panels, reflecting Islamic art, science, and culture across centuries, while promoting coexistence, tolerance, and cultural sustainability.
