As we continue to celebrate women, we proudly honor Humu Kanu who works as AIM PROGRAM ASSISTANT LIVELIHOOD at Brac. Humu's dedication and leadership are instrumental in promoting inclusion and investing in women's empowerment.

She is a perfect example of limitless a woman can be and uses her story to inspire the life of other women in the society. Humu continuously plays a crucial role in selected communities and participants, setting up clubs, and mobilizing communities. Her commitment to ensuring inclusivity is evident as she guides and supervises mentor activities, providing regular coaching, mentoring, and training to develop their capacity.

Meet Khadija Kamara, a shining example of empowerment and entrepreneurship. She is a founding member and current public relations officer at Girls' Power Initiative

She is also the program assistant at Brac Makeni under the AIM PROGRAM ASSISTANT LIVELIHOOD, her role embodies the spirit of investing in women. Through her dedication, she inspires and coaches young girls and women in communities, nurturing their growth and success.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Khadija is a visionary entrepreneur and CEO Queen's Tie Dye Wears. Her commitment to providing training for young women in Freetown and Makeni not only fosters economic empowerment but also accelerates progress towards gender equality.
