Dear President of the SLFA and Minister of Sports,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the recent appointment of the new coach for the Sierra Leone national team. I believe that the decision made does not reflect fairness and has overlooked a highly qualified candidate, Mohamed Kallon.

As a player, Kallon has dedicated his career to representing our country and has made significant contributions to the development of football in Sierra Leone. Moreover, his efforts in nurturing our youth and providing them with opportunities to showcase their talents abroad have been instrumental in their growth. Therefore, it is evident that Kallon possesses the necessary qualifications and experience to excel as the national team coach.

It is disheartening to witness the continuation of a trend where deserving individuals are overlooked due to personal animosities, jealousy, or other unfair reasons. This not only hampers our progress but also perpetuates a cycle of regression. It is crucial that we prioritize meritocracy and select the right people for the right positions to ensure the growth and success of our national team.

I kindly request that you reconsider the decision made and take into account the immense contributions and qualifications of Mohamed Kallon. By appointing him as the coach of the Sierra Leone national team, we can harness his expertise and passion for the sport to propel our country forward.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will carefully consider my concerns and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. Your commitment to fair and just decision-making will undoubtedly benefit the future of Sierra Leonean football.
