This is Father Guilherme Peixoto, a Portuguese Catholic priest who doubles as an electronic dance music DJ.

During his recent trip to Beirut, Lebanon, some worshippers attended both his Mass and his sold-out nightclub event.

However, the DJ set nearly didn't happen. A small group of local Christians, including some clergy/pastors, filed a formal complaint/petition to cancel it. They claimed it distorted Christian images and customs, spoiled the Christian image, and went against church morals and teachings.

A judge rejected the complaint (ruling that the complainants lacked standing or official authority to represent the church), so the unconventional priest was able to perform and party with around 2,000 people at the club.
