MATCOPS Celebrates 19 Years of Empowerment
MATCOPS proudly marked its 19th anniversary with the launch of the HerRise Collective Group under the theme:
“Unite! End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.”

This milestone celebration was dedicated to empowering girls and protecting the future.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Memunatu Swarray as the Special Awardee, honored for her resilience — rising from survivor to leadership and inspiring communities through advocacy, mentorship, and transformation.

Today's MATCOPS joined other NGOs to launch NGO Week, starting with a health walk. It was a delightful tour lasting an hour and culminating in a gathering at World Vision office. During the event, presentations and performances were held, along with a call to action to support the cause through donations, volunteering, and advocacy. Additionally, all NGOs were encouraged to highlight their work on social media. The program concluded with a speech by the Minister of Planning and Economic Development (MoPED).
