a ring spanner or socket, loosen off the compressor pulley assembly. Pull on the idler pulley to tighten the belt, the compressor idler pulley nut. Torque idler pulley nut to 20-30 lb. ft. when the correct

tension has been achieved.

Where a failure has occurred that may have resulted in foreign material in the system, the system must be flushed using Refrigerant R-134a
