Closing the Leadership training program, a collaborative effort between HATRiC Institute and YALI Regional Leadership Center EA - Somalia Chapter which has positively impacted over 50 young leaders, we express our gratitude to our esteemed keynote guest speakers. Special thanks to Mohamed Dugoow, the Director of Public Engagement at the Office of the President of Somalia, various Youth activists, YALI Alumni members, and representatives from civil society.

Notably, some of our keynote speakers delivered their speeches virtually. Taylor Tinney, the Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy Mogadishu, shared insights, along with key officials from the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa, including Dr. Kosimbei the Chef of Party, and Beatrice Ndida, YALI Alumni Relation Manager.

Additionally, we appreciate the contributions of YALI Alumni Analysts Cecile Kangara and Esther Neema.

Together, these voices have enriched our program, fostering growth and inspiration among the participants.

During the design thinking Sessions, participants actively engaged in formulating the problem statement, generating ideas through ideation, and creating prototypes to address the needs of their users.

They were deeply immersed in the process of defining, ideating, and prototyping to develop effective solutions.

The Design Thinking and Challenge sessions provided young leaders with valuable insights, allowing them to deeply understand the design thinking & challenge process .

We extend our gratitude to our presenters Omar, the Training & Innovation Director. He skillfully conducted a session on Negotiations and Conflict Management skills, providing valuable insights to young leaders and ensuring the session was both engaging and enjoyable.

Juweria Garcade, our esteemed guest presenter, a YALI Alumni, Researcher and advocate for economic development and climate action, dedicated her session to deepening comprehension of diversity and fostering social inclusion.

Her engaging approach made the session not only enjoyable but also unforgettable. She seamlessly navigated through the topics, leaving a lasting impact on our understanding of these crucial concepts.
