I keep seeing people saying that John Frog and Mapia One are untalented just because they are known for a few big songs. Honestly, that thinking is wrong and unfair.

John Frog is NOT a one-hit artist.
He has THREE major hit songs that shook the scene:
• Action & Energy
• Gondo Sakit
• Kabiir Wara

Those songs didn’t become hits by accident. They connected with people, moved crowds, and proved consistency.

Mapia One also made a huge impact with his hit song “Talk Too Much” — a song that crossed borders, gained attention, and put his name on the map.

Across Africa and the world 🌍, many successful and respected musicians are known mainly for one or a few massive hits, yet they are still celebrated, booked, paid, and remembered. Popularity is not measured by the number of songs released, but by impact.

Calling our own artists untalented while other African artists with similar careers are praised is double standards.
