We still have a lot of work to do in this country. Imagine it is difficult to mobilize people to do voluntary blood donation. That is why you hardly get blood at the national blood bank. Blood is given on a need basis only by the relatives of the sick, and this has led to a lot of people dying because there’s no regular available blood or they have a rare blood group (O negative) that is not available in the blood bank.
Today, I am very proud to have saved a life with my blood. And the person I saved is not even my relative, she is a human being who deserves a second chance.
Let’s have a good, trusted and accountable system that creates trust so that we all normalize blood donations instead of waiting first for an emergency.

If you are using money to keep people around you and make them loyal, just wait the day the tables turns and you run broke, you will be left alone. Money can buy a lot of things but it won’t last.
