Objectives of ADA

1. Enhance Agricultural Productivity: Promote modern farming techniques and sustainable practices to increase crop yields and livestock production across South Sudan.

2. Support Farmers and Cooperatives: Provide technical assistance, training, and resources to smallholder farmers, agribusinesses, and cooperatives to strengthen local food systems.

3. Promote Research and Innovation: Facilitate agricultural research, adoption of improved seeds, and climate-smart technologies to address local challenges and improve resilience.

4. Improve Market Access: Develop infrastructure, storage, and marketing strategies to connect farmers with local, regional, and international markets.

5. Encourage Sustainable Resource Management: Advocate for responsible land, water, and soil management to ensure long-term agricultural sustainability.

6. Facilitate Policy and Institutional Support: Work with government and development partners to create policies and frameworks that strengthen the agriculture sector.

7. Promote Food Security and Nutrition: Reduce hunger and malnutrition by supporting diversified farming, community-based programs, and nutritional awareness campaigns.

8. Empower Rural Communities: Support women, youth, and marginalized groups in agriculture to promote inclusive economic growth and social development.
