Breaking: The Lakes State Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has ordered a suspension of Lakes State Media’s broadcasts across Lakes State and throughout South Sudan.

The suspension follows the outlet’s interviews with defectors and rebel figures such as (SSSM) Nhial Deng Nhial. Service will remain suspended until the broadcaster changes its name from “Lakes State Media” to a different title.

As we bid farewell to the year 2024, let us carry forward its lessons and triumphs. The moments we cherished, the challenges we overcame, all serve to guide us in this new year. Let's seize every opportunity with a positive spirit and make this year even more fruitful than the last.
