BREAKING | President Reshuffles Government in Wide-Ranging Decrees
In a major political development, President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued a series of presidential decrees restructuring key political and executive institutions across the country. The changes span the national cabinet, state leadership, government bodies, and the diplomatic corps.

Additionally, the decrees reinstated Amb. Achol Abel Aguek to the rank of Grade One Ambassador, and appointed her as Presidential Envoy to the Middle East.
These sweeping changes represent one of the most significant government restructurings in recent years, aimed at strengthening executive performance and reshaping the country’s political and diplomatic priorities.

The Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Sunday that they have taken full control of the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, including the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division of the Sudanese Armed Forces, after fierce battles that lasted for several hours.
Field sources stated in a circulated report that the operation followed a “wide advance” by RSF troops inside the city, allowing them to seize key military positions and government facilities.
