Liphimbo LaboMake

Liphimbo LaBoMake today took a significant step towards a more inclusive future. Co-funded by the European Union in Eswatini under the framework of the Civil Society in Action project, the women's coalition met with marginalized women's groups for a focus group discussion, including women with disabilities, women living with HIV, and women from the LBQT community.

The session, held at Alcon House in Manzini, gathered powerful insights that will contribute towards the development of the Liphimbo 2026–2030 strategic plan to ensure that the crucial voices of women who are often left out and overlooked are not just included, but are championed as the driving force behind our new strategic direction, ensuring that our work truly serves all women in Eswatini.

Our discussions were honest, deep, and insightful. We explored topics like:
✅ The real barriers to participation—from transport and costs to feeling heard and safe.
✅ The accommodations needed to make our spaces more welcoming and accessible.
✅ How can we improve our communication channels to reach women where they are?
✅ What true membership and belonging should look like for everyone.
✅ The strategic priorities that matter most to the women we aim to serve.
