NATIONAL GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS SET FOR NOVEMBER 29TH AT LUKE COMMISSION AUDITORIUM
MBABANE, ESWATINI – The highly anticipated Eswatini National Gospel Music Awards is officially set to illuminate the industry on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the magnificent Luke Commission Auditorium in Sidvokodvo.
The annual event, which celebrates and promotes the excellence of Eswatini’s gospel music sector, promises a night of glamour, power, and high-profile recognition, solidifying the nation's cultural mandate.

A Night of Glamour and Gospel Power
The evening will commence with a Grand Entrance at 4:00 PM, setting the stage for a red-carpet affair. This will be followed by the Gospel Power Hour from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, leading up to the main event, which goes LIVE at 8:00 PM. The Awards will be graced by the who’s who of the Eswatini Gospel Industry, including celebrities, influencers, and the nominated artists.
On the night, 27 winners will be crowned across various categories, and 5 prestigious Honorary Awards will be bestowed, including the Minister's Award, the Chairperson's Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Global Exposure and National Mandate
The Awards are set for significant regional exposure, having secured partnerships with major South African Gospel media houses, including One Gospel and Soweto TV, alongside robust coverage from local channels.
Mr. Nathi Makhabane, the Spokesperson for the National Gospel Music Awards, urged the public to prepare: "The tickets are already available on Moja Ticket. We encourage the public to get ready and budget as this is an event not to be missed."
Echoing the importance of the event, Mr. Stanley Dlamini, CEO of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture, stated: "This event will be a major highlight of what our industry looks like. This is part of the mandate of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture to see to it that all disciplines are promoted and given a stage to shine."

Championing Inclusivity and Talent
The festival is making a bold statement on inclusivity by partnering with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. This collaboration will see the top three winners of the Disability Festival—Sabelo, Msweli, and Siya Bayas—form part of the performance line-up.
"To spice up and achieve the inclusivity, we have partnered with the office of the Deputy Prime Minister," said Mr. Stanley Dlamini, affirming the Council's role in promoting these talented artists.
Mr. Nathi Mhlanga, Chairperson of the National Gospel Music Awards, guaranteed an unforgettable experience: "We are going all big. We won't be leaving any disappointment as the stage is big, so we have to present Eswatini to the world on a bigger scale."
