⚠️ Safety Saturday — Breakoff Series

Today’s reminder is simple:

Track. For. Your. Life.

The whole purpose of breakoff is to create as much horizontal separation as possible so we have clean, safe airspace to open our parachutes.

But one of the biggest mistakes we see is jumpers doing a short or lazy track… and then stopping to “wait” for their ditter.

Short tracks = less separation.

Less separation = less margin when things don’t go as planned.

Breakoff is not:

❌ track a little

❌ coast

❌ wait to pull

Breakoff is:

✔ strong body position

✔ committed drive

✔ staying on heading

✔ tracking all the way until the ditter

And when you stop early, you’re not just reducing your own separation — you can also become unpredictable to the people behind you, increasing the risk of being hit from behind.

Go the distance.

Stay engaged.

Create space.

Because breakoff isn’t time to relax —

it’s one of the most important parts of the skydive.
